Homemade Energy Smoothie

This homemade energy smoothie is a great source of B vitamins and protein to give you the extra burst of energy needed at the start of your day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1 handful baby spinach leaves or kale
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • ½ cup of Almond milk
  • ½ avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Stevia (to taste)
  • ½-1 cup ice

You can also add a scoop of protein powder with vitamins & minerals for an extra boost of energy.

Instructions:

Mix all ingredients together in a blender, pour into a cold glass, and enjoy!
